Member and Game Account Login Guide
FloatPilot uses two login stages: first sign in with a valid member license, then sign in with a game account. Game account login is unavailable until member authorization succeeds.
Important: Windows 10 or later is currently supported. Running sensitive programs, or running inside a virtual machine, may prevent FloatPilot from operating normally.
Login order
Follow this order:
- Start FloatPilot.App.
- In the “FloatPilot Remote License” window, enter your member username and password.
- Read and accept the terms, then select “Login and Start”.
- Wait until authorization succeeds and the game account login window opens.
- Select the
user-*.inifile, version group, and account profile. - Enter the game account details, select the server and character slot, then select “Login”.
After member authorization succeeds, the app creates a valid authorization session and allows game account login.
Stage 1: Member authorization
Complete member verification in the “FloatPilot Remote License” window.
| Field or action | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Validation server | URL of the member authorization service; this may be visible in Debug mode. |
| Member username | Enter a valid member account. |
| Member password | Enter the member password. |
| Remember member credentials | Store the local login data; the password is protected with Windows DPAPI. |
| Read and accept the terms | This must be selected before the login button becomes available. |
| Login and Start | Validate the member license and start the app. |
If the subscription has expired, the licensed game-account limit has been reached, or remote validation fails, member login will not complete and the game account login flow cannot continue.
Stage 2: Game account login
After member authorization succeeds, the game account login window opens. These credentials belong to the game account, not the member account.
| Field or action | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Configuration file | Select the user-*.ini file to load. |
| Version group | Select the game version settings to use. |
| Profile | Select the account section to log in, or create a new section. |
| Username | Enter the game account username. |
| Password | Enter the game account password. |
| Trade PIN | If configured for the game account, enter at least 6 alphanumeric characters. |
| Server | Select the game server. |
| Character slot | Select the character position to log in. |
| Encrypt secrets on write | When selected, password and trade PIN values are written using local Windows DPAPI encryption. |
| Single login | Logs in only the currently selected game account. |
| Batch login | Logs in multiple selected accounts; the member plan limit still applies. |
Game username, password, and trade PIN values are stored in the selected profile section. After editing them, make sure they were saved to the correct user-*.ini section.
What success looks like
Member authorization displays “Authorization succeeded” before game account login becomes available. After game credentials are verified, the app analyzes the character list. When a character enters the game world, a successful character-login message is displayed.
Frequently asked questions and troubleshooting
Why can’t I log in to a game account directly?
FloatPilot requires valid member authorization first. Return to the member login window and verify the member credentials, terms acceptance, and validation server, then confirm that authorization succeeded.
The subscription has expired
The current member plan can no longer authorize game account login. Renew the plan, restart FloatPilot, and sign in again.
The authorization session is missing or remote validation failed
The member authorization state was not created, has expired, or could not be verified remotely. Check the network and validation server, clear the old member state, and sign in again. Keep the complete error message if the problem continues.
FloatPilot stops working after another program is opened
Sensitive programs may interfere with normal FloatPilot operation. Close programs that may cause a conflict, then restart FloatPilot.
FloatPilot does not run normally inside a virtual machine
Virtual machine environments may cause authorization or runtime checks to fail, so normal operation is not guaranteed. Test on a physical Windows environment when possible.
Which Windows versions are supported?
Windows 10 or later is currently supported. Earlier Windows versions are outside the supported range.
Why was batch login rejected?
Make sure the number of selected accounts does not exceed the game-account limit of the current member plan, and that every selected profile contains complete credentials and settings.
Final checklist
- The operating system is Windows 10 or later.
- FloatPilot is not running inside a virtual machine, and potentially conflicting sensitive programs are closed.
- The member username and password are correct.
- The terms have been accepted.
- Member authorization has succeeded.
- Game account data is in the correct profile section.
- The correct version, server, and character slot are selected.
- The batch size is within the member authorization limit.
